The 31st New Zealand International Magicians Convention

Christchurch - Labour Weekend - from 19th to 22nd October 2012.

To be held at the Chateau on the Park Convention Centre in Christchurch.

The Chateau on the Park is well known for its resort style setting on five acres of manicured grounds and is located on a direct arterial route to Christchurch International Airport. The Chateau on the Park is a hidden inner city retreat set amidst well-established and tranquil landscaped gardens and has 200 accommodation rooms with a variety of configurations.

The first of three international headliner has been confirmed - Ken Scott from the USA.

Ken has over 20 years of experience, performing over 350 shows a year. He is a two time winner of the Greater Atlanta Magician of the year award. Ken was also featured on CNN Headline News, where he headlined their segment on A Day of Magic. Ken has also recently appeared on ABC’s America’s funniest video. He performs yearly in Hollywood, California at the world famous Magic Castle, which is home to the Academy of Magical Arts. Ken has performed five times at the White House.

Ken is married to his wife Tonya and they have three daughters, Jordan age 15, Hannah age 10, and Kenedi age 8.
